Even if it is for love: if you love someone...do you go to them, or let good reasons keep you away? [Saturday

[ mood | happy ]

Even if it is for love...

If you love someone...do you go to them, or let your good reasons stand in the way?

Ever since my sister passed away, so unexpected, so without reason, I have come to realize that all the good reasons which keep people who love each other, away from each other... are not good enough. I feel happy now because I feel like I can see life with a renewed sense of passion and beauty.

For now on my journal will be marked friends only. I've dated this entry for the year 2025, so it will also be at the top of my journal, as love will always be at the top of my heart.

I love you all, thanks for listening.

-me

p.s.
And even if you don't comment, I encourage everyone (especially those with good reasons for staying away from the one they love) to put aside your good reasons and follow your heart to be with the one you love.

double p.s.
Sorry everyone, I won't be adding any new friends to my friends list... so please, please don't ask. It may cause you to feel bad to hear me say no, and it will definitely make me feel bad to say no. No offense to anyone, I'm sure everyone is wonderful. Maybe someday in the far future. I'm not trying to be anti-social, just trying to save everyone any hurt feelings that might come from asking me to add you. I've just been taking a breather to re-examine my life and the life that swirls is all. I love you all! :o)

stop the eviction of the 'welcome home' kitchen in new orleans! [Tuesday

Rainbow Mutual AidRainbow Mutual Aid

The only kitchen serving fresh, nutritious meals to the people of New Orleans east of Canal St. is being threatened with closure by city officials. The loose-knit coalition of groups known as 'the Rainbow Family of Living Light', best known for their yearly 4th of July Rainbow Gatherings at rotating locations throughout the country, have been instrumental in the relief effort following Hurricane Katrina. The mobile kitchen they founded in Waveland, Mississippi, the area hardest hit by the storm, has been consistently serving 2,000 people a day since its inception in early September.

The "Welcome Home Kitchen", as the Rainbow Family's Kitchen is known, has been serving well over 700 people each day for three meals a day, as well as providing free medical care, a distribution center of clothing and supplies, a community bulletin board and information table, and a sense of camaraderie that has brought smiles and hugs from people in the most desperate of circumstances.

But now the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer of the New Orleans Emergency Operations Center, Ms. Cynthia Lear, has declared that the city will unilaterally shut the kitchen down on Wednesday, providing no alternative and no resources for the underserved in New Orleans. Ms. Lear has stated that there is no appeals process for this decision, even though community members at the Fauberg-Marigny neighborhood council meeting on Monday gave virtually unanimous support to the ongoing work of the kitchen.

Please call ms. cynthia sylvan lear, the deputy chief administrative officer of the new orleans emergency operations center at 504-658-2180 and Mayor Nagin at (504) 658-4924, Fax: (504) 658-4938 to express your dismay that such a resource would be unilaterally dismantled by the government while it is providing such an important resource for the community.

[Note from heywelcomehome] No matter where you are in the world, make that call!  Stop the harassment of rainbows!

Love for all,

Click here to hear the song How Do You Keep The Music Playing?

"How do you keep the music playing
How do you make it last
How do you keep the song from fading too fast
How do you lose yourself to someone
And never lose your way
How do you not run out of new things to say..."

Its strange, I thought that my July 29th, journal entry would remain at the top of my journal for the next year or two.  I was actually considering dating it for July 29th, 2026 so that it would remain at the top of my journal for always.  But no.....  they say that with every new death is a new beginning.  So it is fitting that with the new death in my life, that I begin a new journal entry.

My brother contacted me today to tell me my sister died.  How strange is that?  I feel numb.  I loved my sister.  Out of everyone in my family I thought that she would be the last to go because she was the goody two shoes.  I actually didn't even consider that she would die, but I always braced myself for everyone else in my family dying... because we are always into crazy stuff.  It was only in August that my sister and I spoke about growing old together.  What do you say when your sister dies?  What are you supposed to feel?  How do you keep the song from fading too fast?

I dedicate this journal entry to the memory of my sister.

       I love ya...

Zine #2 is ready: FEMA cancels free water to people with no plumbing: racism, classism, sexism [Wednesday

[Updated on October 12th, 2005]

Zine #2 is ready: FEMA cancels free water to people with no plumbing: racism, classism, sexism

Hello brothers and sisters,

Zine #2 of a new not-for profit zine (independent magazine) printable from online is now ready.  This issue talks about the following issues: FEMA Deliberately Sabotaging Hurricane Relief Efforts; African People's Solidarity Committee Statement on Hurricane Katrina; Campus Activism Administration's Agreement Regarding Classism and Racism; Building Progressive Infrastructure:   Taking Friendster and MySpace Down - Building a Noncommercial Non-Sexist, Non-Racist Alternative – by Aaron Kreider, founder of Campus Activism, with responses by many, many livejournal users over the last three days.

It is only 20 pages long. Please print them out and place them in your home, activist group, local co-ops, local coffee shops, collectives, libraries and other places. In this first issue I included 18 pages, so that you can create your own page 20 (add your agreements, disagreements with this publication, add a flyer for your activist project, your activist group, your distro etc.,) and then publish this publication as a 20 page booklet on the front and back of 5 sheets of 11" x 17" (or 279 x 432 mm) paper.

There are a lot of privileged (progressive and conservative) people who would like to censor, ignore and sweep it all under the rug, including all the increasing ongoing injustices regarding Hurricane Katrina, but with your help we can make certain that the issue is not censored until those suffering most receive justice!  For those unaware, FEMA has recently turned away charities who want to deliver water to women and children in NOLO with no pumbling.

Submissions are currently being accepted for issue #3. The submission process is on the zine. Thank you!

Love for you all,

-heywelcome

p.s.

On either of these websites http://www.opensource.dsame.com or http://www.campusactivism.org/displayresource-487.htm you will find two issues:  #1 and issue #2 of this zine in both pdf format and document format.  Special thanks to everyone who who spoke up in solidarity and kindness, your supportive and positive comments are appreciated!  The longer that Hurricane victims suffer, the more that privileged people on and off the internet want to ignore those who are suffering (and they will come up with every excuse to do it).  Thank you  :o)

Dear friends,

On this website http://www.opensource.dsame.com you will find two versions of issue #1 of my new zine.

It is a 100% not-for-profit publication titled: "The Open Source Classism, Racism, and Sexism Project: Hurricane Katrina, The Blogosphere And Corporate Media... "White People Find, Black People Loot."

It is only 20 pages long.  Please print them out and place them in your home, activist group, local co-ops, local coffee shops, collectives, libraries and other places. In this first issue I included 18 pages, so that you can create your own page 19 and page 20 (add your agreements, disagreements with this publication, add a flyer for your activist project, your activist group, your distro etc.,) and then publish this publication as a 20 page booklet on the front and back of 5 sheets of 11” x 17” (or 279 x 432 mm) paper.

There are a lot of priviledged (progressive and conservative) people who would like to censor, ignore and sweep it all under the rug, including all the ongoing injustices regarding Hurricane Katrina, but with your help we can make certain that the issue is not censored until those suffering most receive justice!

Issue #1 is found on the website, and is only a rough draft, but I am currently accepting submissions for issue #2.  The submission process is on the website.  Thank you!

Dear everyone,

I just want to take a moment to say I like these two urban romance songs.  I think they are both lovely and full of emotion.  One is a girl2boy song and the other is boy2girl song. If you have a love song that you want to share that reminds you deeply of love, that reminds you of romance, or reminds you of the one you love or miss, feel free to share and post as many comments that you like.

 "Cater 2 U" by Destiny's Child - (I love this song)

Destiny's Child - Cater 2 U Lyrics

[Verse 1 Beyonce]
Baby I See You Working Hard
I Want To Let You Know I'm Proud,
Let You Know That I Admire What You Do
The More If I Need To Reassure You, My Life Would Be Purposeless
Without You (Yeah)
If I Want It (Got It)
When I Ask You (You Provide It)
You Inspire Me To Be Better
You Challenge Me For The Better
Sit Back And Let Me Pour Out My Love Letter

Let Me Help You
Take Off Your Shoes
Untie You Shoestrings
Take Off Your Cufflinks (Yeah)
What You Want To Eat Boo? (Yeah)
Let Me Feed You
Let Me Run Your Bathwater
Whatever You Desire, I'll Aspire
Sing You A Song
Turn My Game On
I'll Brush Your Hair
Help Put Your Do Rag On
Want A Foot Rub? (Yeah)
You Want A Manicure?
Baby I'm Yours I Want To Cater To You Boy

[Chorus]
Let Me Cater To You
Cause Baby This Is Your Day
Do Anything For My Man
Baby You Blow Me Away
I Got Your Slippers, Your Dinner, Your Dessert, And So Much
More
Anything You Want Just Let Me Cater To You
Inspire Me From The Heart,
Can't Nothing Tear Us Apart
You're All That I Want In A Man;
I Put My Life In Your Hands
I Got Your Slippers, Your Dinner, Your Dessert, And So Much More
Anything You Want, I Want To Cater To You

[Verse 2 Kelly]
Baby I'm Happy You're Home,
Let Me Hold You In My Arms
I Just Want To Take The Stress Away From You
Making Sure That I'm Doing My Part (Oh)
Boy Is There Something You Need Me To Do (Oh)
If You Want It (I Got It)
Say The Word (I Will Try It)
I Know Whatever I'm Not Fulfilling (Oh)
No Other Woman Is Willing (Oh)
I'm Going To Fulfill Your Mind, Body, And Spirit

I Promise You (Promise You)
I'll Keep Myself Up (Oh)
Remain The Same Chick (Yeah)
You Fell In Love With (Yeah)
I'll Keep It Tight, I'll Keep My Figure Right
I'll Keep My Hair Fixed, Keep Rocking The Hottest Outfits
When You Come Home Late Tap Me On My Shoulder, I'll Roll Over
Baby I Heard You, I'm Here To Serve You (I'm Lovin It, I'm Lovin
It)
If It's Love You Need, To Give It Is My Joy
All I Want To Do, Is Cater To You Boy

[Chorus]

[Bridge Michelle]
I Want To Give You My Breath, My Strength, My Will To Be Here
That's The Least I Can Do,
Let Me Cater To You
Through The Good (Good)
The Bad (Through The Bad)
The Ups And Downs (Ups And Downs)
I'll Still Be Here For You
Let Me Cater To You
Cause You're Beautiful (You're Beautiful)
I Love The Way You Are (You Are)
Fulfill Your Every Desire (Desire)
Your Wish Is My Command (Command)
I Want To Cater To My Man
Your Heart (Your Heart)
So Pure Your Love Shines Through(Shines Through)
The Darkness We'll Get Through (So Much)
So Much Of Me Is You (Is You)
I Want To Cater To My Man

[Chorus Out]

Hello all.

I'm keeping this short as my level of desire to be at a computer
when I can be in the woods is limited.

For those into computing from town this town is filled with free
wireless access. In 1 block I found 6 free connections! I'm sitting
in front of the health food store now. Wonderful folks here so let's
give them some good business as they are working hard to help us.

News from the site.
There is a Road block at 162 and CR12. There are 3-6 cars and a
handful of LEOS there. They are denying entrance to everyone,
including media. That road is the entrance to a very popular public
camping area. There were hundreds of locals there the other week
when i was there. Most folks are going just past the road block
over the river and camping to the right and sneaking back in. Those
that are in are good, the rest are outside.

Others are camping in other nearby campsites or other campsites on
all sides of the gathering. There are so many ways in that it is
hard for to stop us. Right now LEO activity is scattering folks to
many other campsites, but we are all in the area camping and
enjoying the town.

Today there is a council at noon at the crossroads. I am not there
because I had things in town I needed to do. The locals are
wonderful. Very loving and apologetic about what the FEDs are doing.
Even the local officials are upset with the Washington Feds. Think
Michigan locals saving the scene again!

The FEDS are giving us a pile of endangered species reasons why we
can't use the site, however the local resource folks we talked to
said it was all BS and invented by the Washington folks. This is a
public campground area so it wouldn't be so encouraging to have so
many people there all year if this was true. They have shown us
other sites to use but non have been usable, all have had bad water,
no campsites etc. So here we sit playing cat and mouse games.

So come on out. It's a bit rough now but we will get through.

Hugs
Hawker

From: "Glowing Feather Maji"

Dear Family Near & Far,

We had a most beautiful council today at high noon (Thurs) on site
about 100 yards from blockade. Over 100 folks took part, not one agro
moment, the group is very united and lots of energy to stay and
build.

To get into the site there are many options and crews taking folks in
around the roadblock it's as if there's a will there's away.

The conventional thinking thus far is that this is the site but if a
better one with less police interference is scouted folks will be
open to move but for now they are digging in. I connected with
lightwarrior, calm folks and the water crew they went in yesterday
through the secret mirror so they are hOMe & CALM.

The situation as of 2pm front gate is like this:

The front gate road still blocked by many LEO's 24 hours. People are
lining up after the roadblock. CALL is out for FOOD there is a few
makeshift kitchens but all are lacking food. Money still can be sent
for scouts they are using their own funds, as the well is dry from
scouting bank account.

People lining up have been
told that they could be issued tickets (120) last count but none in
the area where people are waiting. There are two campgrounds in area
one $5 Bear haven up the mountain from spring council 15 miles from
site also at Stuart campground that is $15 night (hot showers) that
is at the beginning road to spring council site the first right. At
that corner to Knob Hill where the bear haven camp is there is a
group site that has about 40 rainbows and still open for more
campers to hold till the gate is open its free and can not fit 74
people so the LEO's have been letting it happen without hassle.

There is a town meeting tonight and I will go with any others that
want to explain the negative views on the radio and in the papers.
So far the towns people have loved us and is sharing the vision to
let us gather. There is a disinformation let out that there are
environment issues but was discredited by local folks that have
environmental backgrounds that live near by Elkins.

1. Bat protected are migrating this time of year

2. The camping area is pretty trashed out by non-rainbow users
(glass, cans, cig butts but family is cleaning out)

3. Salamanders & flying squirrel habitats can be found & protected
as well as a flower cover.

The locals that spoke in circle today (several) all say it's a lie
that the area in question is under any protection because the locals
use it almost every holiday and never had to sign a permit.

So my final comment is to come to the gathering send money to the
official box for food & supplies. Discount all rumors of cancellation
and see you all home sooner or latter.

Dear Micfo,

This is AN EXTREMELY URGENT email.

I would like to transfer my old cpanel websites to my new website that I currently have with you.

Please tell me exactly what information you need in order for your company to transfer my site. Can you please tell me how long it will take for you to transfer my site?

Will you need an ftp account name? domain name? anything else?

Also, I will have several RSS feeds on my new drupal site with your company right now found at http://www.+++++++++++, but I do not know how to make the RSS feeds reload automatically every hour. I believe it is called "crontab." I realize companies typically don't help with third party software, but is there any chance your company can simply make it reload automatically for me?

P.S.

Your faq states the following:
Can you transfer my websites including my files, databases and images from my previous hosting provider to your servers?
"Micfo.com can arrange and transfer all your files including images, databases, e-mail etc. to our servers, only and only, if your current hosting provider is offering Cpanel as their control panel.

Hello,

The transfer is hanging up because of the other server either timing out, being down, overloaded, etc.

Here is what I need you to do:

1) Create the accounts, if you have not do so.
2) Go into the cPanel of the old host, and use the Remote FTP Backup option to send the full backup over to your account with us.

Let me know when that has completed so I can run the restore.

Thanks,

Crontabs help and old website transfer

Thanks,
D.M

Dear Da,

Thank you for your time. Unfortunately, I do not know anything about ftp, and I can barely understand what it is that you are requesting me to do, especially how to make an ftp account, how to transfer and I could not find the remote backup option. If you could do the transfer for me, I would appreciate it.

Dear J.B.,

Thank you for the response.

Yes, Da. is helping me with the full back ups now. Are you able to help me with the cron tabs of my drupal account? I just want it so that my drupal site can automatically update by itself every hour. I was told it has something to do with ftp.

Love for all,

Dear J.B.,

Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure what you are talkingabout. I do know the drupal website that I want to run is here : +++++++++++

The admin user name is +++++++++++, the password is +++++++++++.

I was told that a person could go to http://www.drupal.org, click on modules, and then ftp "poor man's cron" to do it but I'm not even sure that is correct and I don't know how to ftp.

If you could activate the cron it would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for your help.

No, as this is a different platform, we will not be able to transfer the account over to us. You will need to upload your site files to your public_html directory via FTP.

The kernel version is the exact same, the machine type is the exact same and even the Apache version is the exact same. I may not know a lot about computers, but I know that your company can at least transfer the html files over for me because the html files are indeed compatible with your platform, which is why everyone uses cpanel so much.

Your website stated that you guarantee responses in 15-25 minutes [quote "15-25 Minutes Technical Support Response Time Guarantee"]
but you often take one or two days, sometimes you don't respond at all, and you never even apologize for the (quoting the Better Business Bureau terminolgy) "gross misrepresentation of your service ability."

Your faq webpage clearly, specifically states that you can make the transfer. If I have to do all the transfers myself, are you going to at least compensate me for the inconvenience by making my account an "MG Special" instead of my current MG SUPER without charging me the difference (which is a difference of less than $6.00 per month) for the next year?

Love for all,

Hello,

I'm sorry if you were mislead, we can only transfer directly from other cPanel servers.

Your responses to the level 1 support department should be answered within 30 minutes. If you are waiting days, it is likely because you are either waiting for an admin or manager OR because we are awaitin a response from you.

J.,

I see we have a miscommunication. Is it possible that I can speak to an admin at this point?

I've already shown you very clearly that I do indeed have a cpanel account. Both of my acounts that I want transferred are cpanel.

Here are my 2 question that I would like answered:

#1. Can I speak to your admin J, due to the fact that you do not understand that I URGENTLY requested my cpanel accounts (at the very least, just the html files) transferred .

#2. If I have to do all the transfers myself, which would take countless upon countless hours because I don't know ftp, is cpanel going to at least compensate me for the inconvenience by making my account an "MG Special" instead of my current MG SUPER without charging me the difference (which is a difference of less than $6.00 per month) for the next year?

I already asked this question once but you blatantly ignored me which is another reason why I am requesting an admin.

Love for all,
D

Hello,

As stated by D., the transfers are hanging and are not successful. We need you to login to the accounts cpanel and click on Backups and then click on Generate full backup. Please have the backup placed in the home directory. Once they are created, we can then transfer the backups. We also need you to login to your WHM and create the accounts.

Thanks,
J.

Hello J.,

Thanks for your reply. I logged in to the accounts cpanel as you asked. I would like you to log in to those accounts and you will see both of the accounts have full back ups created. If you can't get transfer a full back up maybe you can just transfer the html files.

Here are the full details:

for +++++++++++ my password and user name are as follows:

log into
https://unixserver2.com/cpanel
user name: +++++++++++
password: +++++++++++
Here is the back up:

backup-5.16.2005_20-44-40_+++++++++++.tar.gz

I transferred it to the 'home' directory of my micfo account. When you go to click on the 'file manager' icon in my micfo account, you will see it right there.

=======================================
for +++++++++++ my password and user name are as follows:

log into
https://unixserver2.com/cpanel
user name: +++++++++++
password: +++++++++++

I you click on back ups and then click on full backs ups, you will see it there.

I do not know what the WHM is so I do not know how to create the accounts.

Can you please answer 2 questions for me?

#1. Are you an admin? I requested to speak to an admin. Can I speak to your admin J., due to the fact that you do not understand that I URGENTLY am requesting my cpanel accounts (at the very least, just the html files) transferred and I feel like I am being given the run around. I recall you, J. asked me a lot of drupal questions (as you can see above) only to then tell me "we can't help you" and I feel that will be your end answer now and you're just stalling. I would like the help of an expert in your group, no insult intended.

#2. This is the second time I've asked this question -------->If I have to do all the transfers myself, which would take countless upon countless hours because I don't know ftp, is micfo going to at least compensate me for the inconvenience by making my account an "MG Special" instead of my current MG SUPER without charging me the difference (which is a difference of less than $6.00 per month) for the next year?

Hello,

1) Yes, I am an admin. All of your questions were answered. We do not support 3rd party applications. We can't go and find your answers on drupal. I have tried helping you with this but you have not even researched this yourself. If there is a file that needs to be ran for your RSS feeds to update, we can setup a cron for you. We will not go and research drupal to see what needs to be setup for this to work. You need to research the product that you have chosen to use.

2) A transfer is offered as a convience to you. If transfers can't be done by our techs then you will need to upload your files yourself. You will not be compensated for this.

I have transferred the backups and have restored them. Let us know if you need any further help.

Thanks,
J.B.

Dear J.B.,

Thank you for your answers.
I see that you have transferred my files and I appreciate that.
My user name and password do not work for me to get into my account anymore, it must have had something to do with the transfer because it was working a moment ago.

Can you please make it so that my original user name 'peaceful' and my original password 'clouds27' will allow me into my micfo account.

Thank you for your help,

Love for the people,
d.

P.S.
if transferring websites is as trivial a thing as you described it, I would like to suggest that you describe it that way on your website. I guarantttttttteeeee that you won't have to worry about customers 'bothering' you with questions such as mine if you put it to potential customers the way you just put it to me.

Yes, I would still like to speak with you admin, J. because I'm still hoping for help with the drupal. Thanks, have a nice day.

Also, were you able to transfer the www.+++++++++++.com files?

My old host had unlimited mysql with no fantistico so I'm thinking their shell transferred over but i need to get into fantistico and delete a mysqul.

Hello,

How do you have this domain set up on the server? Right now I am showing the main domain on your account to be +++++++++++.com. Please let us know if this is correct as the domain +++++++++++.com will need to be added to the server before we can set up a redirect for it.

Regards,
J.

The main domain on the account is +++++++++++.com. +++++++++++.com is on another host company all together, it was the account which you were unable to transfer.

Before the transfer I had +++++++++++ configured so that it would redirect to +++++++++++

However, +++++++++++ only comes up with an error now. I tried to redirect it again, but I no longer see the option available. Are you able to make my +++++++++++.com redirection options available to me again?

Before the transfer I had 1000 MG of disck space but now I have only 400 total (with onlly a fraction of that being used)

Are you able to fix that?

Are you also able to make certain that I have my correct 1GB of bandwith limit so that it doesn't accidentally shut off my account?

Love for all,

Also, Can you please tell me how do I access site builder as described on your website below:

Free Website Builder

"This is the industry's leading browser-based solution for website design and construction. With SiteStudio you don't need to know anything about FTP, HTML, Telnet, HTTP, or imaging software. If you can surf the Internet, you can build your own professionally looking website.

"Your web sites will automatically be created with all the required images, including logos, buttons, and sidebars. The images can all be generated in the colors you want, with the desired text. "

The only site studio I see is the one in Fantistico and that one states that I need to use FTP.

Thank you.

Hello,

I reset your diskspace quota and checked your bandwidth quota and both should be fine. +++++++++++.com is the only account setup on this server. Is +++++++++++.com supposed to be a parked domain for this account or should +++++++++++ not be there at all? I can setup sitestudio for you but the redirect issue seems to be more complicated. How should this account be setup?

Thanks for resetting the disk space and bandwith. I would still like redirect abilities for my +++++++++++ domain.

if you use any whois search you will see +++++++++++.com is on another host and was never set up for micfo. Micfo tried to transfer it for me but they didn't know how. Yes, please set up site studio for me at your very earliest convenience. The account should be setup for +++++++++++.com. Thank you.

Hello,

I have setup sitestudio for you. I am going to leave this ticket open as there seems to be some misconfiguration due to the failed migration attempt. I will continue to look into this and advise you of what I am able to do to correct this issue. Your redirect problem is being caused by this.

I went to the 67.15.18.54:2082 and it says "Acces to the resource "67.15.18.54:2082" has been disallowed.

Also, I tried to go to +++++++++++.com/cpanel and it did not show up and would not let me log into my account and my entire website is now down.

Also, I want to return to my prior to questions and I would like to speak to your admin J. This situation has grown progressively worse by leaps and bounds.

"#1. I requested to speak to an admin. Can I speak to your admin J., due to the fact that you do not understand what you are doing and I feel like I am being given the run around because you do not want to admit it. My website is now completely down and has been down for who knows how long.

As I said on "10 Jun 2005 06:01 AM..."

"...I would like the help of an expert in your group, no insult intended."

#2. This is the second time I've asked this question -------->is micfo going to at least compensate me for all of this exponentially increasing inconvenience by making my account an "MG Special" instead of my current MG SUPER without charging me the difference (which is a difference of less than $6.00 per month) for the next year?

Thank you very much,
Love for all,
d

Greetings,

Just so you know J. is one of our admins, and a very good one. I am also an admin. If you get the message "access to resource has been disallowed" then you are having a local network problem and it is not something we can fix. Please contact your network admin or isp for assistance getting access to port 2082.

Also, please do not be harrasful to our technicians anymore or we won't be able to provide further assistance to your tickets.

d.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#1. harassful? OK, i just want to know where my website is. I have tried from several different computers to log onto 67.15.18.54:2082 and I cannot. My website http://+++++++++++ is now gone. All my hard work for days is now gone. I am losing business, affiliates and clients.

I'm going to keep this message as short as humanly possible so that you cannot say that I am "harassful." My question is this: is there any chance that I can speak to the owner of this company?

I don't appreciate you accusing me of being "harassful" and worse I don't appreciate you virtually blackmailing me with a blatant threat of "we won't be able to provide further assistance to your tickets"

just because I want to know "where is my website?" Most customers who have been treated as your employees have treated me (none of your employees apologized until I requested an apology) would have been irate. Yet, I have been polite and repeatedly spoken to everyone in your company without caps (without yelling), with any profanity or anything that even remotely resembles profanity, with kindness, with love, with peace and I even said no insult intended repeatedly, thank you, and I even repeatedly told J. good job for transferring one of my websites and then I repeatedly requested to speak to an admin as is the professional course of business in resolving a valid complaint.

#2. This is the fourth time I've asked this question -------->is micfo going to at least compensate me for all of this exponentially increasing inconvenience by making my account an "MG Special" instead of my current MG SUPER without charging me the difference (which is a difference of less than $6.00 per month) for the next year?

Try to put yourself in my shoes. You sign up for a new company and you put countless, untold hours of work into creating your website and suddenly the new company causes your website to go down. And then the employees of the new company try to blame you for not being happy about it.

Thank you very much,
Love and peace for all,
d

Again, I cannot log onto 67.15.18.54:2082. I have tried more than computer at more than one place and it is now a local problem.

Please find some way to place my website back up. I am politely, with all the professional politeness simply asking: Please find some way to place my website back up. Thank you.

Hello all!

:o)

Just got back from the August 29 "The World Says No To Bush" protest in New York City. It was great! I also went to an awesome conference called Life after Capitalism. http://www.lifeaftercapitalism.org

I am looking forward to attending a similar conference next year, that will be in Portland, Oregon called "A World Beyond Capitalism." But thats next year. Website:http://www.awbc.lfhniivaaaa.info

The Life After Capitalism conference was so fantastic. It makes me happy to see how many people are so organized these days. I was able to get housing during the protests with two complete strangers using the housing boards located here: http://www.counterconvention.org

I would have liked to attended the NY social forum but I couldn't stay that long because it is so expensive to live in NYC. NY Social forum: http://www.nycsocialforum.org

I was happy to see Floppy, Joanee Freedom a few nights before the conference. Directly after the conference was over, I saw Diamond Dave and Jim. Thats was awesome. They were feeding people free food.

I love you all,

Sincerely,

You-know-who (or maybe not) ;o)

    [ mood | bouncy ]

As you read this particular entry for 2-19-04. Please keep in mind that within the week, or moth, this particular entry will receive more information but it will keep the same date and time. There are a lot of people we would like to thank and we will thank at least a large portion of them if at all possible. Thank you. :)

Non-violent Activist Group of the month: Everyone who participated and/or helped to promote the "The Annual February 14th "Love, Feeding the Hungry & Freedom Day of Worldwide Peaceful Activism!"

This was the first annual celebration of its kind, so all support was especially appreciated. Also, this event encouraged people to celebrate in many ways, including, but not limited to, an autonomous or anonymous manner so we fully realize that there were many people who participated in this celebration of love and non-violent activism, and promoted it, but we will never know their names or what they did. Our thanks to those people is still just as sincere. That is because this is a celebration created not for self-serving goals, but goals designed to help others. That is is why for February 2004, Our activist of the moth goes out to each and every person who participated in this celebration no matter who you are or where you are.

In addition, we also would like to give thanks to many awesome people and organizations that were kind enough to place us on their website. Some of these people placed us on their website completely unbeknownst to us. We only found them by doing extensive search queries entering our website name or the celebration name in the search field of various search engines.

We list these wonderful organizations and people for many reasons:

#1. As a service to all non-violent activists. In this way you can become familiar with these people and organizations. They have services or information that may be helpful to you.

#2. Our way of saying thank you.

#3. Because it is a growing reality that many search engines are using technology that locates a website based not simply on how many people use it, but also based on how many people have linked to that website. We hope by linking to these website that it will enable others to know about these valauble resources.

#4. Because it helps create a story of history about all activism. Many of the activism link pages where these groups posted information about our love, feeding the hungry and peaceful activism celebration, also have information about ther activist events that were happening at the same time.

Names are listed in alphabetical order.

Peace News for nonviolent revolution [website and magazine]

What You Can Do: Simply learning about their organization will help you learn how non-violent peace activist are taking a direct action stand in helping to change the world.

    Their website: http://peacenews.info

Quote from the Peace News for nonviolent revolution website:

"Peace News is written and produced by and for activists, campaigners and radical academics from all over the world. At our site you can: read the current and past issues of our magazine, see the latest global antimilitarist news, find out what international peace movement events are taking place, and take out subscriptions or make donations which are used to help other nonviolent activists. We want to make this site a place where you come to discover things, to read our magazine, to support us, and to be a part of the Peace News community."

"Peace News is published in cooperation with War Resisters' International. The WRI website is available in dutch, english, spanish and french."

    Quote from their website:

    An introduction to PeaceNews

    The international quarterly

Indonesia, Britain, Kosov@, India, USA, Germany... Peace News makes links and draws connections between movements around the world which are all struggling for radical social change through nonviolent means.

    for nonviolent activists

Peace News is not a magazine about international politics as it is played out by power politicians behind closed doors. It is about change at the grassroots level, where individuals and groups are discovering and making use of the power they have. Peace News is an activist/campaigning magazine - written by, about, and for activists and campaigners.

    published since 1936

For over 60 years Peace News has been at the forefront of pacifist and nonviolent thinking and action. Originally formed to serve the British peace movement, since 1990 Peace News has been an enthusiastic international and internationalist magazine produced in cooperation with War Resisters' International.

    where nonviolent activists and pacifists

Peace News isn't just for committed pacifists, but is essential reading for all English-speaking activists, political students, researchers and concerned citizens interested in the nonviolent transformation of the world we live in.

do their best thinking and reflecting

"Peace News is written by, about and for people actively engaged in nonviolent social change. It is a place for debate, inspiration and information. Workshop plans appear alongside historical analysis, strategic debates alongside prisoners' statements. Each issue contains at least 25 pages on a particular theme, as well as up to 20 pages of reviews, international news, events, cartoons and a lively letters page.

    "for a nonviolent revolution"

"PeaceNews is about radical social change - "nonviolent revolution" - and our aim is to support and connect movements for radical change around the world. By reporting and analyzing what these movements are doing - and why - we hope to inspire others to action."

In Solidarity with the The Protest Against The School of America [Monday
    November 24th, 2003

    ]

Nov 23rd School Of Americas Protest

for more info on the non-violent activivist group known as School of Americas watch go to http://www.soaw.org

Quoted Info on the above photo: "Columbus, GA - Over ten thousand people gathered this weekend outside the gates of Fort Benning, Georgia in the most diverse demonstration yet of opposition to the School of the Americas, renamed Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (SOA/WHISC), a combat-training school for Latin American soldiers. Hundreds of thousands of Latin Americans have been tortured, raped, assassinated, "disappeared", massacred, and forced into refuge by SOA graduates.

"The gathering culminated today with a solemn "funeral" procession. More than 30 people had been arrested after entering the base in an act of nonviolent civil disobedience. They took this action despite knowing they likely face 3-6 months in federal prison. They are being held at the Muscogee County Jail in Columbus. Since protests against SOA/WHISC began over ten years ago, 210 people have served or are now serving sentences of prison and probation for civil disobedience. SOA Watch activist have collectively served more than 75 years in federal prisons across the country."

"Prison will not deter us," said Kathy Kelly, who was among those arrested today. "We intend to close this school and to change the foreign policy that this school represents." Kelly works with and helped initiate Voices in the Wilderness, a grassroots organization that campaigns to end economic and military warfare."

That quoted info was from the http://www.soa watch website.

As protests against the School of Americas occured yesterday at the School of Americas, and in solidarity activism events across the USA, and as people are still in jail for their non-violent activism participation, in solidarity with those who peacefully protest against the injustice of the School of Americas, this blog offers you the below photos. We have provided the web address for you for two reasons: #1. To make it easy for you to copy this onto your web site and print it out for others. #2. There are 52 people in jail. 5 have asked that no one post bond for them. 1 person is refusing to provide identification. Everyone is being required to post $1,000 bond before being released after being arraigned for the charge of trespassing on federal property.

1 person was arrested on Sunday by Columbus City police for refusing to particpate in the unconstitutional police search that the city of Columbus forced people to undergo as a condition for their participation in the public demonstration. He was released on a $250 bond. Late last week, SOA Watch and the ACLU filed an emergency brief with the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in an attempt to get them to rule on the appeal from the 2002 mass-searches, and to prevent the police from searching today. There has been no response from the Court.

On Saturday, November 22, 11 people were arrested and put in Muscogee County Jail for accidentally driving on to the base which is accessed by a public highway. On Monday, the passengers were released but drivers are still being held in jail on a $1,000 bond. Some of the people who are currently in jail were also arrested on Sunday for accidentally driving on to the base, but it is unclear how many at this point, possibly 3 or 4.

LFH NIIVAAAA, Dear Family Welcome Home, The Campfire Circle In Sherwood Forest, stands in solidarity with their solidarity statement:

We, The Stop the War Coalition in London, England, The Mobilization to Stop the FTAA in Miami, Florida (U.S.) and the School of the Americas Watch Movement in Columbus, Georgia (U.S.), are mobilizing tens of thousands of people this week in the United Kingdom and the United States to hold our governments accountable. Our struggles are interconnected and we organize in solidarity with each other.

We recognize our governments’ foreign policies are not bringing security to the world any more than their economic policies are bringing prosperity.

The invasion and occupation of Iraq, the training of soldiers in counterinsurgency at the School of the Americas, and the expansion of so-called “free-trade agreements like the Free Trade Area of the Americas, are strategies in the building of an empire based on greed, violence and power. These policies breed resentment.

Democracy will never come about through military invasion. “Free trade does not equal democracy; in fact the two are usually at odds. And our governments’ claims of “spreading democracy throughout the world rings especially hollow when they have failed to even listen to the democratic input of their own citizenry.

We do not want war for empire. We do not want training camps where soldiers are taught to torture and assassinate their own people. We do not want economic globalization that serves elite interests to the detriment of the rest of the world.

We are united in building a world in which the values of justice, cooperation, respect for the earth, and genuine democracy are upheld. We believe this is the surest way to bring about lasting peace and security. To this end we will struggle together on both sides of the Atlantic and around the world.

LONDON - Around 100,000 protesters marched through London and tore down a mock statue of visiting President Bush Thursday.

Demonstrators of all ages beat drums and blew whistles along a 3-mile route that took them past parliament and the end of Downing Street, where crowds paused to jeer toward Prime Minister Tony Blair's office.

When they reached Trafalgar Square, protesters felled a 20-foot papier mache statue of Bush in a parody of the toppling of a statue of Saddam Hussein when U.S. troops swept into Baghdad. In its top pocket was a puppet with a grinning Blair face.

Organizers estimated as many as 300,000 people had taken part in the demonstration. A police crowd control officer on the ground put the turn-out at above 120,000, while Scotland Yard's press office said there were 70,000 protesters.

A group of London schoolchildren skipped class to join the demonstration. "We don't want Bush here," said Dyana, 14.

She and her friends marched shoulder to shoulder with pensioners, office workers and students banging drums and blowing whistles. Some protesters wore Bush masks, others were dressed as Ronald McDonald.

Philip Miller, 79, said he had flown over from the United States especially for the march: "I was in World War II and I've seen some of the horrors of war, the distress of the civilian population, the hunger and homes destroyed."

    May peace and love prevail.

    First quote:

"...Union organizers pledged that the march will be peaceful and designated about 800 parade marshals to help keep the peace and point out any violent agitators to authorities."

"Despite the arrests, organizers of several groups working out of a rented warehouse on Miami Avenue insisted they were committed to nonviolence as they went over plans to protest the trade negotiations going on under near lockdown security in downtown hotels.

"We think the police repression is going to be intense," said protester Rocky Pyskoty, 25, from Chicago. "But hopefully all will go smoothly."

Also hoping for calm was AFL-CIO President John Sweeney, who stopped by the protesters' welcome center Wednesday to show union support for the people from all over the country who have come to oppose the trade pact.

"We have been working with the police, and we have every expectation of a peaceful rally and march," he said.

Non-violent Activist Group of the month:
Sisters of The Road Cafe, a non-profit group, and the activist group whom they sponsor, Crossroads.

What You Can Do: Simply learning about their organization will help you learn how charitable groups that once began by simply feeding hungry people have successfully joined the non-violent activist movement for positive social change.

    The Sisters website: http://sistersoftheroadcafe.org/

    The crossroads website: http://www.crossroadspdx.org

    Quote from the Sisters website:

What is Sisters Of The Road Café?

Sisters Of The Road Café is a non-profit restaurant open to the public. We encourage all of our customers, staff, volunteers, and donors to get to know each other over a meal at the Café. This simple act breaks the myth that says we are so different from one another and results in mutual opportunity and benefit.

    Our Mission...

Sisters Of The Road Café exists to build authentic relationships and alleviate the hunger of isolation in an atmosphere of non-violence and gentle personalism that nurtures the whole individual toward changes that will reach the root of his or her homelessness and poverty and end it forever.

    Quote from the crossroads website:

WE ARE COMMITTED TO SECURING AND PRESERVING THE HUMAN RIGHTS, CIVIL RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES OF ALL PEOPLE IN POVERTY AND HOMELESS CIRCUMSTANCES; AND TO PROMOTING CIVIL AND COMMUNITY ACTION ON THEIR BEHALF.

Peaceful Activism: Re: Judge forces peaceful protest to end under threats

What you can do: You can show love and support for your union brothers and sisters with a donation and/or letter of support. Letters or donations can be mailed to the MEA Crisis Fund, c/o MEA President Elaine Hanson, Pilchuck UniServ Council, 2500 Hewitt Ave., Suite 100, Everett, WA 98201. Notes also can be faxed to 425-339-2147 or e-mailed to Elaine Hanson at mea@premier1.net.

[Summarization of an email sent to Elaine Hanson today]

Dear Elaine Hanson, and to all the members of the Marysville Education
    Association,

Greetings. I am a contributor to a website known as "LFH & NIIVAAAA,
Dear Family Welcome Home." The name LFH & NIIVAAAA is an abbreviation.
It stands for Love, Feeding the Hungry & Nonviolent, Individual &
International Volunteers Who Are Autonomous Activists of Altruism for All
People, Animals, Plants and Planets in the Name of Love.

I read about the judge ordering your Union back to work today in the
several newspapers. I believe that what happened
to your union is a story that deserves far greater attention from the
perspective of people who desire to encourage unity among people
worldwide. That is the type of people who maintain our website.

I have read your views on your wonderful website located at
    http://www.premier1.net/~mea/
. Thus far, I have also read the
below three news articles about the strike,
which are located at the below links:

    #1. http://www.sacbee.com/24hour/nation/story/1032597p-7247953c.html

    #2. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/144761_students21.html

    #3. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/education/2001771027_marysville21m.html

Particularly disturbing was the article at link #2 in which the journalist seems to
primarily focus on students who are upset about the teacher's strike.

Even more disturbing, was the Judge's remarks who belittles the entire
    strike with the below comments:

"Krese told teachers to return to work under the conditions of their
previous contract, and for both sides to bargain in good faith for a new
one. She promised to enforce monetary and possibly criminal sanctions on
teachers who disobey her order, and said it's "time for all of the adults
to grow up and look at their obligations to these children." Hanson
continues to blame the strike on the School Board."

Your strike was longest teacher's strike in Washington state history. For the
judge to force your union back to work is one thing, but for the judge to force you
back to work with such belittling statements that dismiss your brave and
dedicated group as adults who need "to grow up" is disgraceful. It only
encourages people who oppress employees to continue doing so around the world.
The judge tells you to look at your obligations to the children. It is evident that the
extremely well paid judge is talking about short range obligations. By striking for better
treatment you are fulfilling your obligation to the children. That is your obligation
to teach them that receiving better treatment does not come without sacrifice.

If you as teachers, and if all people don't start educating children as to that fact,
there won't be anything left by the time they figure it out on their own.

What was most disturbing was this part of the article found at link
    #3.:

"A parents group called "Tired of the Strike" started the court battle
between the school district and the MEA when it sought an injunction
against the two groups Oct. 6. A week later, a school-district attorney
    sought a similar injunction. "

There seem to be far too many outspoken people interested in ending the
strike for reasons which primarily focus on the 'here and now'. At stake is
the world's ability to conduct effective non-violent protests. It boggles the mind that
the school district would offer you a contract that has no pay raises for three
years. As if inflation will stop for three years. As if the sky rocketing medical bills
will stop increasing for three years. We would like help you have your voices heard.

If the judge can simply force your union back to work, under threat of
monetary and possibly criminal sanctions that not only discourages other unions
across the country from striking for better
treatment, but it also encourages the employers at any business and
School Boards all across the country to simply "wait out the strike"
because they know they can get a judge to force people back to work.

Recently, in Portland, Oregon,n the Portland teacher's union, which has
never gone on strike, chose to accept a contract that makes them work
for free for 10 days, rather than try to get a better contract. That was
a grim day in history to see teachers, one of our society's most treasured
resources, have to work for free for ten days, like slaves, even though the
local government admitted to making 'budget mistakes' which caused these
budget cuts. Budget cuts which were in addition to the fact that Portland,
Oregon already has the shortest school year in the country due to budget cuts.

This is also relevant because currently California is experiencing not only the 7,000
grocery store union member strike against
Kroger Co.'s Ralphs, Safeway Inc.'s Vons, Pavillions and Albertsons grocery stores
because those employers are attempting to completely terminate health benefits
to some of the lowest paid workers in America. Those grocery stores have
stated that they will not give a better contract because they have to trim their costs
so that hey can be more like Wal-mart which is probably the most famous
anti-union franchise in the country. In addition, more than 2,200
Amalgamated Transit Union members, Metro Transit Authority (MTA) mechanics,
walked off the job. More than 6,000 MTA drivers went on strike in a beautiful display of solidarity
by refusing to cross their picket lines. In a smaller labor problem, an Orange
County Superior Court judge ruled that eleven sheriff's
deputies of Los Angeles County who recently were part of an alleged
"sickout" might be charged with contempt of court.

The reason I am writing to you is because our website would like to
publish an independent publication known as a "zine-magazine", in which we will
focus directly on the struggle of your union. We would like members of
your teacher's union to simply send us their thoughts, opinions, rants,
frustrations and personal suffering regarding the union strike. They may submit their
writings anonymously. We will not edit (outside of spell checking) any of
the submitted articles. We will most certainly not publish any opinions
of anyone who attempts to make your union look bad in any way. We are not
a news service that pretends to deliver balanced viewpoints while accepting money from
influential advertisers and favors from other individuals. The only advertisements on
our website are from the free-of-charge message board service that we use
and the free-of-charge weblog we use. We do not get paid for that.

Although our publication will be a new, independent, ad free, zine, it will be
widely distributed. A few of the zine libraries across the world we will
send it to are located at this link:
    http://www.zinebook.com/resource/libes.html

There are three ways that teachers can submit their thoughts to us:

#1. Place it on any of our message boards which are located on our
    website at http://dearfamilywelcomehome.net
    .

The direct link to the message section of each of those message baords are below:

    - CCC# 2-002

    or

#2. Send it by email to me at info@DearFamilyWelcomeHome.net

#3. There is a third option. I urge you to consider doing the fourth option
in addition to one of the above two. Please encourage your teachers to create a
blog. A blog is an online journal, or weblog.

You can do so, free of charge at http://new.blogger.com
    .

Each one of your teacher's can create their own blog, or all of the teachers can contribute
to one ongoing blog. The link to your blog will be placed onto our webpage.

It is important to know that we only accept copyleft material, which enables other people to publish it free of charge around the country, without authorization, nor monetary payment to the original author.

Please feel free to forward this to all of your union members. Some of your members may view this strike as simply a strike that you had. But the truth is that we are living in an age when we are witnessing the death of unions and the death of people speaking up for being treated better. At stake is not only every person's ability to engage in peaceful, effective protest, but at stake is every person's ability to be free from unmasked "oppression made legal".

Thank you for taking a stand. Our love is with you.

    P.S.

Below are the lyrics to the song "Come Along" by Titiyo:

"Play with it while you have hands
Dust settles, cities turn to sand

    Trespassing this is their land
Time flies, make a statement, take a stand

Come along now, come along with me
Come along now, come along and you'll see
What it's like to be free
Come along now, come along with me
Come along now, come along and you'll see
What it's like to be free

Come along now, come along with me
    And I'll ease your pain
Come along, come along with me
    And let's seize this day
Come along, come along with me

Stay out stay clear but stay close
    Friends, foes, God only knows
Let's be the thorn on the rose
Time flies, make a statement, strike a pose

Come along now, come along with me
Come along now, come along and you'll see
What it's like to be free
Come along, come along with me
Come along now, come along and you'll see
What it's like to be free

Come along now, come along with me
    And I'll ease your pain
Come along, come along with me
    And let's seize this day
    Oh, come along with me

Time flies, make a statement, take a stand (3x)
    Time flies, take your chance

Come along now, come along with me
Come along now, come along and you'll see
What it's like to be free
Come along, come along with me
Come along now, come along and you'll see
What it's like to be free

Come along now, come along with me
    And I'll ease your pain
Come along, come along with me
    And let's seize this day
    Oh, come along with me"
